Diversion Areas

With the dominance of water usage comprising irrigation and replenishment activities, the South Burdekin Water Board is responsible for delivery of water services to ratepayers within the Water Area.  The South Burdekin Water Area covers 26,000ha and consists of ten distribution areas, locally known as Warrens Gully, Lakes, Alma, Munros, Central, Iyah, Fords, Mathers, Down River, Sandy Gully & Alma.
